At MEINS, we are thrilled to share an important update to our facilities, marking another step in our commitment to innovation and quality. Thanks to the expansion of our production capacity, we have added a state-of-the-art mobile gantry at our workplace in Coreses (Zamora), specifically designed for transporting our SPS. This equipment can lift and move up to 32 tons with ease. The powerful machine, equipped with two hoists of 16 tons each, will not only increase our production capacity but also enhance the safety and efficiency of our operations.

This equipment allows us to expand station storage to the existing yard and also to any potential future expansions in adjacent plots, thanks to its great mobility and operational capacity.

The acquisition and commissioning of this mobile gantry have been made possible through the support of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and the Regional Government of Castilla y León, through the Business Competitiveness Institute of Castilla y León (ICECYL). This investment aims to boost productivity in the region’s industrial sector and contribute to a more competitive and innovative Europe.

The company has obtained grants from the Institute for Business Competitiveness of the Regional Government of Castile and León, with funds from the European Union, under the following lines of aid: ‘Investment Projects in SMEs’, which aim to finance tangible and intangible assets for the creation of new businesses and the improvement of the competitiveness of existing ones, with a total amount of €60,463.26.

Thanks to this funding, at MEINS we can optimize our manufacturing capacity, providing a safe working environment and increasing the efficiency of our processes.
