The smarter E Europe 2026 marked a turning point for Meins. The company concluded its participation in the world’s leading international energy exhibition with outstanding results, driven by a high volume of visitors, strong international interest in its solutions, and industry recognition through the prestigious The smarter E AWARD 2026. Held in Munich, Germany, the event brought together more than 100,000 professionals and nearly 2,000 companies from around the world, once again establishing itself as the leading meeting point for renewable energy, energy storage and electrical infrastructure.

In this international setting, Meins successfully captured the attention of customers, strategic partners, project developers, engineering firms and industry experts thanks to its unique technological solution, the CSET-145.

The First Full-Scale Compact High-Voltage Substation at The smarter E Europe

One of the major highlights of this year’s edition was the unveiling of the CSET-145 | Compact Substation, an innovative solution developed by Meins to accelerate the deployment of electrical infrastructure.

For the first time in the history of the event, visitors had the opportunity to walk through a full-scale compact high-voltage substation, fully installed and ready to operate at voltages of up to 138 kV. Moving beyond the traditional mock-ups and digital simulations commonly seen at trade fairs, Meins brought a fully operational electrical infrastructure to the exhibition, making its stand one of the event’s main attractions.

The installation provided a practical demonstration of a technology that reduces the required footprint by more than ten times compared to a conventional substation, simplifies civil engineering works and enables commissioning in approximately two weeks.

More than 1,500 visitors and over 300 international business meetings

The response received throughout the three-day exhibition exceeded all initial expectations.

Meins’ exhibition spaces welcomed more than 1,500 visitors and hosted over 300 meetings with customers, project developers, utilities, engineering firms and strategic partners from numerous countries.

The strong level of interest confirms the growing demand for innovative solutions capable of addressing the challenges of the energy transition, particularly in sectors such as renewable energy, energy storage, data centres, electric mobility and green hydrogen.

From Vision to Reality

Under the ‘Everything Changes Now‘ concept, Meins created an immersive experience that demonstrated how an idea designed to transform the energy sector could become a tangible reality.

For months, the team worked on the design, manufacturing, transportation and assembly of a one-of-a-kind installation that introduced industry professionals to a new way of understanding electrical infrastructure.

The CSET evolved from a concept into a real-world experience, showcasing first-hand the advantages of a more compact, modular and industrialised model.
