At MEINS, we believe that business growth must go hand in hand with a strong commitment to people and society. For this reason, we are proud to renew, for another year, our collaboration as a Gold Sponsor of the Vaccines4Children initiative, promoted by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, the ”la Caixa” Foundation, and the Gates Foundation.
This international alliance works to combat child mortality in the world’s most vulnerable countries by providing access to essential vaccines, giving millions of children the opportunity to grow up healthier, with more opportunities and a brighter future.
Thanks to the commitment of participating companies, institutions, and organizations, a new milestone has been reached this year: more than 13 million children have been vaccinated, a figure that reflects the tremendous impact that collaboration between institutions, businesses, and society can achieve.
In addition, the contributions made have enabled the full funding of pneumonia vaccination programs in Mozambique for seven consecutive years, helping to tackle one of the leading causes of child mortality in many developing countries.
This year’s campaign is built around a simple yet powerful message: “More than 13 million children already have the superpower of survival.”
Behind this statement are millions of stories of life, hope, and opportunity. Because something as accessible to many as a vaccine still represents, for millions of children around the world, the difference between life and death.
At MEINS, we remain committed to initiatives that generate a positive impact beyond our business activities. This collaboration reinforces our commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly:
- SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being
- SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
We would like to thank Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, the ”la Caixa” Foundation, the Gates Foundation, ISGlobal, and all participating organizations for leading such a transformative initiative and for allowing companies like MEINS to be part of it.
We will continue supporting projects that help improve people’s lives and contribute to a future where no child is left behind.
