We are currently looking for a PROPOSALS ENGINEER FOR SUBSTATIONS who will be responsible for the preparation, analysis, and technical-economic development of proposals for electrical substation projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements, technical specifications, and established deadlines. Your main role will be to coordinate the technical and economic information needed to turn the requirements of a tender or request for quotation into a competitive, viable, and properly sized proposal.
What will your RESPONSIBILITIES be?:
- Analyzing RFQs, technical specifications, and electrical diagrams for substation projects.
- Defining and preliminarily sizing the technical solution together with the engineering team.
- Preparing technical-economic proposals, budgets, and related documentation.
- Requesting, analyzing, and comparing quotes from suppliers and manufacturers.
- Following up on proposals, resolving technical queries, and providing support during client negotiations.
- Continuously optimizing solutions to achieve competitive, viable, and technically compliant proposals.
We’re looking for candidates with:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of minimum experience preparing proposals, budgets, or working in a sales department within the electrical sector.
- Experience in substations, high-voltage installations, etc. will be especially valued.
- Knowledge of electrical equipment suppliers and manufacturers.
- Experience interpreting technical documentation and electrical diagrams.
- Intermediate English (B2).
