We’re currently looking for someone with experience in COMPREHENSIVE PROJECT MANAGEMENT to lead the development and execution of technical solutions for electrical substations. You’ll work closely with the different technical departments to ensure quality, cost, and schedule targets are met, and you’ll bring strategic vision to secure the technical and commercial viability of each project, identifying new opportunities for improvement and growth in the market.
What will your main RESPONSIBILITIES?
- End-to-end management of projects within the electrical SUBSTATIONS area, from award through to commissioning.
- Planning, coordination, and oversight of the project’s technical, logistical, and administrative activities.
- Acting as the main point of contact with clients, engineering firms, suppliers, and contractors to ensure technical requirements, deadlines, and agreed costs are met.
- Monitoring schedule compliance, tracking deviations, and proposing corrective action plans.
- Coordinating internal teams (engineering, procurement, quality, HSE, construction) to ensure efficient execution aligned with project objectives.
- Providing technical support throughout project execution, ensuring specifications and applicable regulations are correctly interpreted.
- Preparing and reviewing project technical documentation, including progress reports, schedules, minutes, and client deliverables.
- Managing scope changes, technical claims, and issue resolution during project execution.
- Tracking quality, cost, time, and customer satisfaction KPIs, and driving continuous improvement in project management.
- Researching and analyzing market trends within the sector.
- Providing technical support to the project management, sales, and procurement departments during project execution.
- Optimizing product design and functionality based on test results.
- Identifying opportunities to develop new products and innovative solutions.
- Collaborating with other areas to define new needs.
- Actively taking part in the development of marketing and sales strategies, contributing technical input.
- Driving continuous improvement in substation development processes.
✅ What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience managing ELECTRICAL SUBSTATION projects (preferably in EPC or turnkey environments).
- Knowledge of international, local, and utility company regulations.
- Ability to lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of complex projects, coordinating technical teams, suppliers, and clients.
- Technical and operational vision, with a focus on process optimization and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary environments, fostering collaboration across technical, commercial, and operations areas.
- English level B2/C1 (for liaising with international suppliers and clients).
