We are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our company and lead the creation of a new department. The main objective of this role will be to ensure the proper operation, availability, and preservation of equipment, primarily focused on photovoltaic plants and other renewable energy assets (transformer stations), guaranteeing operational continuity, safety, efficiency, and compliance with preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the team’s preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Monitor the condition of equipment and facilities to ensure availability and reliability.
- Develop and follow up on maintenance plans.
- Prioritize incidents and coordinate urgent actions with other departments.
- Analyze recurring failures and implement corrective and improvement measures.
- Coordinate with customers regarding maintenance visits and incident management.
- Keep technical documentation for equipment and installations up to date.
- Prepare periodic reports on incidents, failures, costs, and equipment availability.
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety procedures.
- Support internal and external audits.
Requeriments:
Education
- Technical degree or engineering qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in similar maintenance management roles.
- Experience in industrial environments or renewable energy projects is highly valued.
Technical Knowledge
- Mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance.
- Interpretation of technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
- Maintenance management software.
- Industrial safety regulations and occupational health & safety standards.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance management.
- Knowledge of automation systems and PLCs is an advantage.
