MEINS CONSULTING, S.L.U. has received funding for the project CATALYTIC REFORMING OF BIOETHANOL through grants from the Institute for Business Competitiveness of the Regional Government of Castilla y León, funded by the European Union, under the aid scheme “R&D Projects in SMEs,” within Thematic Objective 1, which aims to promote technological development, innovation, and high-quality research in SMEs, with an amount of €211,191.42.
This grant is co-funded by the European Union Structural Funds at 50%. The CATALYTIC REFORMING OF BIOETHANOL project involves the research, development, and construction of a transportable mini-plant for hydrogen generation from a source of head alcohols or primary alcohols (methanol and other high-grade alcohols resulting from distillation processes).
This project falls under Investment Priority 1.B “Promoting business investment in R&D” and Specific Objective OE.1.2.1, which focuses on promoting R&D activities led by companies and supporting the creation and consolidation of innovative companies, under Thematic Objective OT1 “Strengthening research, technological development, and innovation,” corresponding to the ERDF Operational Programme for Castilla y León 2014–2020.
