At Meins, we firmly believe that social and corporate responsibility must go hand in hand. That’s why we are proud to announce our participation as a Gold sponsor of the project led by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, in collaboration with the “la Caixa” Foundation.
This public-private partnership works tirelessly to reduce child mortality by ensuring equitable access to vaccines in the world’s poorest countries. Since its inception, Gavi has helped immunize over 1 billion children, preventing more than 17 million premature deaths.
Every 20 seconds, a child dies from diseases that could be prevented with a simple vaccine. This harsh yet avoidable reality has driven us to get actively involved and be part of the change. As an organization, Meins reaffirms its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
Thanks to our collective efforts, this year we have surpassed 11 million children vaccinated, offering a better future to millions of families.
We are deeply grateful to Gavi and the “la Caixa” Foundation for leading such a necessary and transformative initiative, and for allowing us to take an active role in this great mission: leaving no one behind when it comes to immunization.
