MEINS, dedicated to the electrical industry and working in more than 31 countries, has received last September 22 the SMB of the Year Award 2023 of Salamanca, an award granted by Banco Santander and the Cámara de Comercio de Salamanca, in collaboration with the Cámara de España and La Gaceta de Salamanca.

Julián Herrero, CEO and Founder of the company with a track record of more than 25 years, was in charge of collecting the award at a ceremony held at the headquarters of the Cámara and attended by the president of the Cámara de Comercio de Salamanca, Benjamín Crespo; the territorial director of Banco Santander in Castilla y León, Javier Martín and other local and regional authorities.

The jury, composed of five members, has especially valued Meins’ contribution to job creation, its adaptation to the new times, its commitment to its sector and the development of revolutionary projects, as merits to win this award.

The president of the Cámara shared with all the attendees his pride in celebrating one more year the SME Award, “an event that highlights the talent, dedication and success of the small and medium-sized companies that are the economic heartbeat of our province”.

This achievement would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of its talented team, which combines the experience of its most senior employees with talented young people trained in the different educational centers of Salamanca.

Innovation, ambition, quality, safety, continuous improvement and dynamics are the daily objectives that make MEINS a reference in the renewable energy sector.

National SME of the Year 2023

Meins will compete for the National SMB of the Year Award 2023, which will be chosen among the winners of each province, during the first quarter of 2024, at a major event to be held in Madrid.

Likewise, the winners of the runners-up prizes will also compete in the national final in their respective categories, where the companies that have stood out for their Internationalization actions, their Training and Employment or Innovation and Digitalization policies and those that have implemented the most sustainability measures will be chosen. In this new edition, the seventh of this Award, 1,629 companies from all productive sectors have participated.
