Successful landing after a great flight at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport!
We’re thrilled to announce that MEINS has successfully completed the on-site delivery and unloading of 15x CPS-8800-52 over two separate weeks at the PV Barajas 142 MWp project.
Thanks to exceptional organization and teamwork, we met tight deadlines and exceeded our customers’ expectations. The complex logistics plan involved over 60 flatbed trucks and a 200-ton crane, showcasing our ability to manage large-scale operations efficiently.
The MEINS CPS-8800-52 is an innovative Central Power Station, sized at 8800 KVA, designed to elevate the voltage from Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd.‘s SG4400UD inverter (630Vac) to the airport’s grid voltage of 45KV.
This photovoltaic facility spans more than 350 hectares and is recognized as one of the most powerful renewable energy production sites within an airport area worldwide.
At MEINS, we are proud to support AENA‘s Climate Action Plan, which aims to ensure that all its airports are 100% powered by renewable energy by 2026.
We reaffirm our commitment to sustainability and renewable energy generation, working hand in hand with our partner SANJOSE CONSTRUCTORA to achieve our shared goals.
